Wimbledon-Furniture is delighted to offer for auction this stunning and very rare original circa 1920’s Art Nouveau signed Muller Fres Luneville glass chandelier

Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, it covers within the M25 only, for an accurate quote please send me your postcode

Muller Frères (Co.) was an esteemed French glassmaking company based in Luneville, France, famous for its Art Nouveau vases, lampshades, and chandeliers, which often incorporate layered and colored glass. Their workshop was established by Henri Muller and his brothers in 1895 after they trained with Émile Gallé—who would retain a grudge against Muller for setting up a rival enterprise. In 1910, the company began making lamps in association with Chapelle and, at its height, employed around 300 workers. Production was stopped in 1933 and the factory closed three years later, a victim of the Great Depression.

A very good looking and well made original Art Nouveau light that has been fully restored and rewired from top to bottom.

Structurally the chandelier is in perfect condition, aesthetically the wrought iron has various light patina marks all over from genuine age and honest use. The glass has multiple scratches around the fittings and edges, generally all over really, nothing you wouldn’t expect from a 100+ year old lamp
